Venus, Jupiter to shine incredibly close for 2 nights next week 03.06.2026

Beginning Monday, June 8, and continuing through Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Venus and Jupiter will appear exceptionally close in the western evening sky, visible to the naked eye. Venus, the brighter of the two planets, will be positioned to the right of Jupiter, with the celestial bodies appearing only about 1.5 degrees apart, an alignment not to be repeated until November 2028. Following this conjunction, both planets will remain visible in the evening sky throughout June. Additionally, from June 16-18, the crescent moon will pass by Jupiter and Venus, with Mercury also visible nearby, forming another significant planetary alignment.
