Vidaus reikalų ministras Arvydas Anušauskas pareiškė, kad augantis Šengeno vizų išdavimas Rusijos piliečiams yra nepriimtinas ir kelia rimtą saugumo grėsmę. Jis pabrėžė tvirtą paramą tikslinei Vizų kodekso peržiūrai ir laukia Komisijos teisėkūros pasiūlymo. Šis pareiškimas skelbiamas, kai tarptautiniu mastu svarstomi pasiūlymai griežtinti vizų išdavimą Rusijos turistams, be to, minima diskusija apie prezidento raginimą vetuoti LRT įstatymo pataisas, bankų diegiamą saugesnį „Smart-ID+“ autentifikavimo būdą, Izraelio ir Libano susitarimą dėl sąlyginių paliaubų bei šaudynes po išleistuvių JAV.
