A Norfolk, Virginia, neighborhood was plunged into fiery chaos on Sunday evening, around 8:30 p.m., when an illegal street takeover occurred at the intersection of Redgate Avenue and Greenway Court. Video footage captured a large crowd engaged in reckless driving and ignited flames, with individuals seen using what appeared to be a flamethrower and pouring gasoline which immediately sparked fires. The incident prompted numerous calls to the Norfolk Police Department. Isaiah Duncan-Simmons, 19, of Virginia Beach, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and careless damage of property by fire. No injuries were reported, and police are seeking public assistance for further investigation.
