Violences dans le périscolaire : 242 parents écrivent à Macron, dénonçant « des failles structurelles » 21.02.2026

In Paris's 7th arrondissement, 242 parents have written to President Macron to denounce "exceptional gravity dysfunctions" within the after-school care system, following suspicions of physical and sexual violence involving nine animators suspended since late January. These parents highlight "structural flaws in recruitment, organization, and control" of these services, particularly affecting schools like Rapp, La Rochefoucauld, and Saint Dominique. The concerns were amplified by a January 29th Cash Investigation report on France 2, which used hidden cameras to film some staff members' behavior. This has led to over thirty potential complaints for sexual assault or rape, with parents expressing dismay that suspects remain free and criticizing the lack of communication from the city, especially regarding a previous suspension of a director in May 2025 for alleged sexual violence.
