Violences dans le périscolaire à Paris : Des parents révoltés par l’enquête de la mairie sur l’école Emeriau 23.02.2026

Parents of children attending Paris's Emeriau school are expressing outrage following the city's administrative inquiry into allegations of sexual assault against a 58-year-old librarian. The librarian was indicted in October 2023 for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old, with at least six complaints filed and potentially fifteen more alleged by parents. The administrative investigation, initiated in October 2023 by the city's general inspectorate, concluded in June 2024 but its findings were only revealed to parents on January 20, 2026, nine days before a "Cash Investigation" episode aired, prompting the disclosure. Parents criticize the delayed communication and the inquiry's methodology, which they claim focused on staff accounts and overlooked prior parental warnings about the librarian's behavior and the library's setup, leading them to demand a reopening of the investigation and clear public commitments to corrective actions.
