Rappler brought together more than 100 participants—including students, educators, civil society representatives, community leaders, journalists, and election stakeholders—at Notre Dame University in Cotabato City on June 9 for a public forum focused on the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao’s (BARMM) first parliamentary elections. The event, titled “#AmbagNatin: Boto para sa Bangsamoro,” aimed to discuss pressing issues such as voter education, representation of marginalized sectors, access to reliable information, and the challenges communities face ahead of the September 14, 2026 polls.
