Wakil Menteri Ketenagakerjaan (Wamenaker) Afriansyah Noor menanggapi kekhawatiran Federasi Serikat Pekerja Rokok Tembakau Makanan Minuman - Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia (FSP RTMM-SPSI) mengenai dampak regulasi terhadap tenaga kerja di Industri Hasil Tembakau (IHT). Dalam audiensi pada Senin, 25 Mei 2026, FSP RTMM-SPSI menyampaikan aspirasi agar pemerintah mempertimbangkan kelangsungan industri dan lapangan pekerjaan saat merumuskan kebijakan. Afriansyah Noor menyatakan Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan (Kemnaker) siap mengoordinasikan masukan tersebut kepada kementerian terkait, seperti Kementerian Keuangan, Kementerian Kesehatan, dan Kemenko PMK, demi memastikan perlindungan tenaga kerja menjadi pertimbangan utama dalam setiap penyusunan regulasi.
