‘We know the bloke’: Karl Stefanovic sponsor backs ousted broadcaster 29.06.2026

The Sydney Morning Herald

Revive5, a seller of powdered sports supplements, has become the first advertiser to publicly support Karl Stefanovic after he was ousted by Nine. In a statement, a company spokesman said, "We know the bloke behind the headlines. That’s exactly why we back him." The company, which offers listeners a discount code based on Stefanovic's "Karlos" nickname, uses his endorsement in its advertising. Stefanovic departed Nine last Friday after releasing an hour-long interview with Robinson, during which he praised the activist's "courage" and "tenacity." Nine, the owner of this masthead, cut a deal to end Stefanovic's one-year contract, reportedly worth $2 million, following crisis talks. Stefanovic responded with a video declaring himself "free, truly independent" to produce his podcast.
