Dutch bobsledder Wesselink concluded the Olympic Games with a thirteenth-place finish in the four-man bobsled event. Across four runs, Wesselink's team achieved a total time of 3 minutes and 40.28 seconds, securing three positions in the standings during their final performance. They finished 2.71 seconds behind the gold medal-winning German team led by Johannes Lochner, who also secured a victory in the two-man bobsled in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Lochner's winning margin over his compatriots Francesco Friedrich and Switzerland's Michael Vogt was 0.57 and 1.07 seconds, respectively.
