Following Wednesday's (July 1) severe storm, the city of Žilina has so far cleared approximately 100 kilometers of roads and more than 62,000 square meters of sidewalks, squares, bike paths, and underpasses. As reported by Žilina city spokesperson Zuzana Ondrášová, the storm left behind fallen trees and branches, flooded areas, and contaminated roadways.
