Despite a rainy start to summer 2025, historical weather data from Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service offers clear guidance for planning a sunnier getaway. Meteorologist Gytis Valaika analyzed records from 1961 to 2025, finding that July is the warmest month in 43 of those 65 years, followed by August (15 years) and June (only 7 years). The data was further broken into ten-day periods, revealing that the third ten-day period of July and the first ten-day period of August are the warmest, with average temperatures of 19.1°C and 18.9°C respectively. This stretch was the hottest part of the summer in 27 of the 65 years studied.
