Where vacancies remain: 2,464 unfilled enrollments across the country 03.07.2026

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, led by Borut Rončević, has released data on enrollments for the first year of secondary school. A total of 22,710 future students enrolled during the first and second rounds, with the highest number entering secondary vocational education (9,636), followed by grammar school programs (7,544), secondary professional education (4,755), and lower professional education (775). Additionally, 102 candidates enrolled in parallel education.
