Sweden's upcoming general election is highlighting a growing political gender gap, with men and women increasingly diverging in their party preferences. A recent Statistics Sweden survey found that twice as many men support the far-right Sweden Democrats compared to women, while female support for the Social Democrats is 10 percentage points higher. If only women voted, the left-leaning bloc would secure 64% of the vote, while male-only voting would give the right-leaning parties 51%.
