Six months after the fire catastrophe in Crans-Montana, which left 41 people dead and over 100 injured, Blick met 16-year-old Agata. She suffered burns to 65 percent of her body and spent five months in the Lausanne University Hospital following the accident, more than a month of which was spent in a coma. Upon waking, she had no detailed memories of the night of the fire, only the feeling that something was wrong with her skin. Four skin grafts, including the use of fish skin, were necessary. The visible scars on her back, stomach, and arms continue to cause her fear to this day.
