Tina Charles, the WNBA’s all-time leading rebounder, officially announced her retirement from professional basketball on Tuesday after a storied 15-year career. The 37-year-old center concluded her tenure with 4,262 career rebounds and 8,396 points, ranking second only to Diana Taurasi in league scoring history. Selected first overall by the Connecticut Sun in 2010, Charles earned MVP honors in 2012 and secured three Olympic gold medals.
