A serious traffic accident occurred in Ta' Qali on Vjal l-Istadium Nazzjonali around 1:30 PM, resulting in three individuals being hospitalized. The collision involved a Honda Fit, driven by a 51-year-old woman from Mtarfa, and a Renault Arkana, driven by a 51-year-old man from Marsaskala, who had an 11-year-old boy as a passenger. Emergency medical services attended to all three victims at the scene before transporting them to Mater Dei Hospital. The female driver sustained critical injuries, while the male driver suffered grievous injuries, and the boy's condition remains unconfirmed. Police are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
