In a signed article for Rodong Sinmun, Xi highlighted the enduring and unbreakable nature of the traditional China-DPRK friendship, emphasizing their shared socialist ideals and common future. He noted that he and Kim have maintained close strategic communication, holding six previous meetings to guide the development of bilateral relations. Xi stressed that high-level strategic coordination is the greatest strength of their ties, and their common pursuits include promoting regional and global peace, stability, fairness, and justice, while firmly supporting each other's national sovereignty and security interests.
