Xjenza Malta And OGS Sign Agreement To Strengthen Mediterranean Research Cooperation 25.06.2026

Xjenza Malta and Italy’s Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS) formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the Planetarium Hall at Esplora in Malta. The event coincided with the opening of the AMARE-MED 2026 Summer School, which addresses multispecies modelling for ecosystem-based marine resource management. The MoU builds on existing joint work in European initiatives like JPI Oceans, the 5+5 Dialogue, BlueMissionMed, and Horizon Europe, aiming to strengthen research, innovation, and scientific capacity across the Mediterranean.
