The foundation stone-laying ceremony for the drinking water project in the Yaoundé VII Municipality marks a significant step in improving water access for residents. Led by Minister Gaston Eloundou Essomba, the initiative focuses on boosting the capacity of the autonomous water source and upgrading the distribution network to address increasing demand. Project officials detailed that the works include constructing new water infrastructure, reinforcing the secondary distribution network, and rehabilitating existing grey cast iron and steel pipelines.
